And now for an update on my attempt at Project 365:
Day 176 (January 10, 2010)
Remember that spiffy new camera Scope gave me for Christmas? (click HERE if you need a refresher course on the matter.) Well, I took my camera to a local beach (Seahurst Park) and spent over an hour snapping pictures and trying all the different settings out. I ended up taking about 250 pictures there that day! WOW. But fear not, I’m only showing you a few of my favorites….
Day 177 (Jan. 11)
We presently have a Valentine’s Day tree (a mini Christmas tree all adorned with red glass hearts) set up at our house….
Day 178 (Jan. 12)
I did a few experiments with my new camera set on “bulb” while I swooped it by the Valentine’s Day tree lights. Interesting. Very interesting….
Day 179 (Jan. 13)
Yeah, yeah, I know, I know, ENOUGH WITH THE TREE LIGHT EXPERIMENTS!! SHEESH!!….
Day 180 (Jan. 14)
A rainy day….

I love the swooping. I'll have to figure out how to try that too. I really love the water photo with all the motion - feels just like the ocean. And I like the cloud formations behind the 1st bird pic. Great composition!
My fav is the one of the close up of the rocks, with the ones in front out of focus. I LOVE shots like that! Althoooooough, the swoop is pretty darn cool. :)

I love the Valentine's tree. Any excuse for cute glass decorations! :) And the light distorted hearts are beautiful too. :)
That's the Canon DSLR right? I really need to get a new camera. The camera in my Pre is pretty good, but I need that level of detail in my life again.

Love the beach and beach/bird pics but my favorite is the "heart lights". Love it!
